Fourth Annual Furry Ice Skating Meet

First of all, I'd like to apologize for the late organization of the meet this year.. I wasnt even sure that I would be able to attend the convention this year until literally a couple days ago.

This was such a big hit last year, we decided to do it again! We will be in the same location as last year, only about 5 miles from the MFF hotel.

One change this year, is that I will be requiring prepayment. I want to avoid the hassle that we caused the rink last year while I was trying to collect the money. Please have your money for me as we meet in the hotel lobby. :)

Please note that this event IS SEPARATE from the hockey meet that will be hosted by Poomie.

When: Friday, November 20th
Noon-2:00pm
(Meet in Westin lobby at 11:30am)


Cost: $6.00 admission
$4.00 skate rental

If we can get 15 or more skaters, we can get a group discount that will lower the price to $3 admission, and $4 for skate rental.

Ok all... it's time that I start planning for the 4th Annual MFF Ice Skating meet.

We will be returning to the Glenview Ice Center this year. However, now we have two time options.

We could either go with our usual time slot (Friday afternoon, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm), or we can go with a new event that the rink is hosting on Friday nights from 8:15pm to 10:00pm. Per their website, there will be a live DJ. This option will cost about a dollar more.

What time / option would best suit everyone? Thanks for your input!!

I dont know why I booked it in the first place. I'm not gonna know if i'll be at the con until like a month beforehand. I'm sure as hell not going to pay for a room night 2 1/2 months out without knowing 100% that I will be there.

Just bought my ticket to FWA :) I'm flying this year instead of doing that asinine 24-hour round trip by car like i did last year XD

Flying from Kansas City to Atlanta via AirTran on Thursday the 19th.... and returning from Atlanta thru Milwaukee back to Kansas City on Monday the 23rd on Midwest Airlines.

Total cost: 158.29
